The Masked Singer Returns for Group B Premiere

Wednesday’s episode began with the introduction of Wasp, who performed “Rock Your Body” by Justin Timberlake after being introduced by Season 10 winner Ne-Yo (aka Cow). They seemed to be a professional singer, with the panel guessing that Taye Diggs, Bruno Mars, or Jason Derulo might be under the mask.

Next up was Chess Piece, who was introduced by Season 8 contestant Nikki Glaser (aka Snowstorm), who also joined Joel McHale as a commentator for the episode. Chess Piece performed “Believe” by Cher, prompting the panel to guess that they might be Serena Williams, Regina King, or Ashley Graham.

Later, Bluebell took the stage, introduced by Season 2 contestant Kelly Osbourne (aka Ladybug). Bluebell sang “We Belong” by Pat Benatar. The panel guessed that they might be Taylor Momsen, Ellie Goulding, or Leighton Meester.

The final performance of the night came from Goo, who was introduced by Season 9 contestant Keenan Allen (aka Gargoyle). Goo delivered a soulful performance of “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims, prompting the panel to guess that they might be Jon Batiste, Shaboozey, or Khalid.

Dust Bunny Unmasked as Andy Richter

Wednesday’s new episode also featured a performance from Dust Bunny, who was introduced by Season 9 contestant Dick Van Dyke (aka Gnome). He performed “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond, getting the audience and panel to sing along.

Unfortunately, Dust Bunny didn’t earn enough votes to stay in the competition, so he had to be unmasked at the end of the episode. Final guesses from the panel about his identity included John C. Reilly, Jay Leno, Will Ferrell, and Chevy Chase.

However, none of them correctly guessed that it was comedian and Conan star Andy Richter under the mask. Did you guess correctly? What are your guesses for the other contestants in Group B? Let us know in the comments below.
