‘Divorce Is Imminent’ For Kim Kardashian And Kanye West After 6 Years Of Marriage

After six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly calling it quits. Sources told Page Six that “divorce is imminent” for the couple who had their relationship play out from the very beginning on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The pair have four children together, North, 7, son Saint, 5, Chicago, 2 and son Psalm, 19 months.
Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Are Reportedly Getting A Divorce
“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” a source told Page Six. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.” She is well-known for handling celebrity divorces like Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock. She was also Kim’s lawyer after her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries came to an end.
Kanye and Kim are said to be living in separate homes at the moment. “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source added. Kim is staying at the couple’s $40 million Calabasas home that underwent $20 million worth of renovations. Kanye is staying at his $14 million Wyoming ranch where he spent some time in quarantine after a Twitter tirade previously.

Kim owns all the land around the Calabasas house while Kanye owns the house itself. “Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her because that’s where the kids are based and growing up,” a source said. “That is their home.”
Another person added that Kanye is fed up with Kim’s family and their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He is “completely over the entire family…He wants nothing to do with them.” For him, the show is “unbearable.” Over the past few seasons, Kanye made limited appearances on the show which will be coming to an end this year after 20 seasons.
Sources Say Kanye’s Twitter Rants Might Be To Blame For A Split
“Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot,” a source said after Kim was dedicated to making her marriage work. “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”
Kanye has gone on quite a few Twitter rants since announcing his bid for presidency last year. He often references Kim’s mom Kris Jenner and tweeted that she was unable to see their four children any longer. Not to mention, he made erratic comments about his wife. “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday,” he tweeted.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for ‘prison reform,'” he tweeted in July after Kim met with rapper Meek Mill to discuss prison reform. He also tweeted about how the Kardashian family was forcing him to try and get help.

Divorce rumors have swirled before, but this time looks more serious. A source confirmed that the couple is currently engaged in divorce settlement talks.
