Living in a mansion during the coronavirus pandemic certainly has its benefits. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are taking a little time out from each other as they are currently staying on opposite ends of their huge house. What is causing this rift between Kim and Kanye?
Kim Kardashian Feels Like Kanye West Does Not Help Out Enough With Kids
Sure, a lot of people might be going stir crazy inside of their homes waiting for the day they can go out and take pictures with açaí bowls again. But for Kim and Kanye, it seems like being locked away at home is a huge change from their normally busy lives. “Kim and Kanye are arguing and at each other’s throats during this pandemic,” a source told The Sun. The source went on to say that since Kim is so used to being on the go and traveling, this alone time with the kids is a huge change for her. We get it. Taking care of kids can be hard but that is what you sign up for when you decide to become a parent.

Kim is disappointed that Kanye does not help out as much with the kids. Kanye has been trying to focus on some of his projects such as his sneaker line. Kim also has a ton of stuff going on like law school, her Skimz line and her makeup line. It is clear that they both have a lot on their plates and need to find a healthy balance of working and pitching in to take care of their kids.
Kim Said That Being In Quarantine With The Kids Has Been Hard
Kim said on The View in March that being at home with four kids made her rethink the decision to have anymore. She called it “really tough.” It has been clear from videos that she has posted lately that taking care of the kids has been a handful for her. In a PSA about social distancing, Kim reprimanded her daughter North for jumping on the bed. “Can you not jump on the bed? Give me like, two seconds, to seriously do this!” she said.
Kim also posted a makeup tutorial in her guest room as she claimed that she was hiding from her kids. When North burst into the room she said “North, can I please just do my little tutorial? It’s all I want to do. This one little fun thing for myself.” It was pretty obvious that Kim just wanted a few minutes away from her kids and she was under stress. She also spoke about homeschooling the kids and getting everything in order.
Kanye West Took The Kids On A Trip To Wyoming
The main idea of being under lockdown is that you are supposed to stay home. But Kanye had other plans when he decided to take the kids on a trip to Wyoming to give his wife a break. While it may seem a little bizarre to take your kids to another state during a pandemic, Kim got to focus on law school and business meetings. Kanye purchased a $14 million ranch in Wyoming in 2019. As you would expect, the ranch is huge and definitely allowed the kids to run around and not bother their mom!
Kim recently posted a photo of Kanye and daughter Chicago watching television with their dad. They look like one big happy family in the photo but there is obviously more going on behind the scenes. And even though they are currently going through a rough patch, a source said that their marriage is still solid.
In some lighter news, the pair just celebrated the first birthday of their son Psalm. Kim posted this adorable video of Psalm on Instagram.
Her caption said “My baby Psalm turns 1 years old today!!!!!! Psalmy you complete our family. You make everything perfect. I love you so much!!!! Happy Birthday Psalm.”

Parts of California are starting to reopen after lockdowns so Kim and Kanye might be back to their normally busy lives soon. But until then we hope they can work out their issues for the sake of their children.
