BIO: Susan Boyle rose to fame following her stunning Britain's Got Talent audition in Season 3. Within the audition, Boyle shared that she hopes to be "as successful as Elaine Paige." She then sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables, and amazed the judges and audience. This audition was watched by 10 million viewers when it aired on April 11, 2009. Boyle's audition was considered the "biggest wake-up call ever," since judges openly reacted to the way Boyle looked, before hearing her sing. Following Boyle's 'BGT' win, she released her debut album, 'I Dreamed a Dream'. This album became the UK's best-selling debut album of all time and set a record for first-week sales by a debut album. She went on to release albums 'The Gift' (2010), 'Someone To Watch Over Me' (2011), 'Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs from the Stage' (2012), 'Home For Christmas' (2013), 'Hope' (2014), 'A Wonderful World' (2016), and 'TEN' (2019). As of 2021, Boyle has sold 25 million records. Her debut album is also one of the best-selling of the 21st century, since it sold 10 million copies worldwide.
