‘BGT’ Star Susan Boyle Meets Elton John During His Farewell Tour

Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle recently got to meet legendary musician Elton John during the singer’s farewell tour. In a sweet video posted to Boyle’s Instagram account, the pair can be seen embracing.

In a recent Instagram post, Boyle can be seen posing for a photo with John. They both smile for the camera as John rests his hands on Boyle’s shoulders. In a video clip, John embraces Boyle and kisses her forehead.
“I’m so pleased to see you,” John tells Boyle in the heartwarming video.
In the video’s caption, Boyle’s team explained that the meeting took place during John’s recent Glasgow stop on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which has been ongoing since 2018 and is due to come to an end next month.
“A night she will never forget!” reads the caption of the post on Boyle’s Instagram.
One fan wrote that they would love to see the two singers release a song together. Another suggested that they should perform a duet of John’s classic track “Your Song.”

Boyle Suffered a Stroke Last Year
Earlier this month, Boyle returned to the BGT stage to perform “I Dreamed a Dream” with the West End cast of Les Misérables. After her performance, Boyle gave an update about where she’s been, revealing she suffered a stroke last year.
“Last April there, I suffered a minor stroke, and I fought like crazy to get back on stage, and I have done it,” Boyle told hosts Ant and Dec.
Boyle shared more on her Facebook page later, writing that she “worked so hard to get my speech and singing back, with the sole aim of being able to sing on stage again.”
Back in 2009, Boyle wowed the BGT judges and audience with her stunning voice. She ended up finishing Series 3 in second place behind dance group Diversity. She later competed on AGT: The Champions, earning the Golden Buzzer from judge Mel B.
