BIO: Shin Lim premiered his sleight of hand story based talent on America’s Got Talent season 13. After impressing over the course of the season, he was the second magician to win since season nine of the series. Following Lim’s win, he returned to the AGT: The Champions stage a year later. To this day, Lim is the only two-time winner on AGT in consecutive years.
Lim won the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (International Federation of Magic Societies) World Championship in 2015. This opened doors for the magician, he went on to appear on Penn and Teller’s Fool Us and more.
Lim was first contacted by the AGT producers after his first Penn and Teller’s Fool Us performance in 2015. After his second appearance on the series, Lim decided he was ready to audition for America’s Got Talent. Following the series, Lim married his longtime girlfriend, Casey Thomas. The two got engaged in 2017 and married in 2019.
