The Voice host Carson Daly has confirmed that the show is back to filming. Daly lamented the fact that this is the first time he’s taped the show without coach Blake Shelton sitting on the panel. Season 24 is expected to premiere this fall.

On Monday, Daly posted a selfie of himself in the hair and makeup chair getting his hair trimmed. The host is jokingly making a distressed face. As he wrote in the caption, “My first day ever shooting @nbcthevoice without @blakeshelton.”
Daly went on to explain that he and longtime coach Shelton “had a ritual of getting hair & makeup together for 23 seasons.” He ended the post by writing, “I think I’m handling it well. Everything’s fine.”
Shelton left The Voice after the most recent season, having coached on the show since its inception. Daly has been the show’s host for the same amount of time, and the two are good friends. Daly even officiated Shelton’s 2021 wedding to fellow coach Gwen Stefani.
Fans will still get their dose of country when the show returns for Season 24, as Reba McEntire is joining the show as a new coach, alongside Stefani, John Legend, and Niall Horan.

The Show Is Taping Two Seasons This Month
Not only has The Voice started taping for Season 24, but it looks like the show is also getting a head start on production for Season 25, which is expected to air in the spring. The coaching lineup was announced last month to include McEntire, Legend, Chance the Rapper, and coaching duo Dan + Shay.
The ticket site 1iota has filming dates listed for both Season 24 and Season 25. Blind auditions for Season 24 will tape from July 11 to July 14, while taping for Season 25 is scheduled for July 24 to July 27. McEntire and Legend will apparently be very busy this month, as they’ll appear on both panels.
