Canada’s Got Talent Season 2 is filming soon, and all four judges will be returning to the panel, in addition to host Lindsay Ell. Fans can get tickets now to check out the live tapings of this season’s auditions.
Canada’s Got Talent Judges to Return for Season 2
CGT announced on Instagram this week that all four judges from last season will be back on the panel. That includes Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Kardinal Offishall, and Trish Stratus. Lindsay Ell will also be back as host.
According to the post, the judges are “looking to raise the bar with even MORE amazing talent.” Ell commented, “Let’s do thissss!” Meanwhile, Singh wrote, “Let’s go!!”
Ell recently confirmed her return to the show with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “I’m so excited about everything that we’re planning, the producers, the auditions. So we start filming in a few weeks, and I just cannot wait.”
Last season, singer Jeanick Fournier won the show after earning the Golden Buzzer from Ell in her audition. Earlier this year, CGT announced that it was casting for Season 2, as hopefuls were encouraged to apply for the show online.

How to Get Tickets for Canada’s Got Talent Tapings
In the same Instagram post announcing the judges’ return, CGT also shared that filming for Season 2 will begin this October at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls. Fans can request free tickets to attend the tapings now.
Check out the list of tapings here. Currently, five dates are listed, with two tapings each day at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The current dates are October 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23.
A premiere date for the new season hasn’t been announced yet, but last season premiered in March, so it’s possible the show will follow a similar schedule. If so, we can possibly expect to see the finale in May of next year.
