Britain’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer recipient Loren Allred is back with a new music release this week. The singer shared a cover of the song “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves, and she sounds amazing on the heartfelt track.

Loren Allred Releases New ‘Rainbow’ Cover

Earlier this week, Allred shared a clip on Instagram from a live performance of “Rainbow,” in which she explained what the song meant to her. She shared that she has felt like “something was wrong with me” in the past, and the song helped her.

“Growing up, I had trouble fitting in no matter where I turned,” Allred wrote in the post’s caption. “I felt like everyone had things figured out except for me, leaving me to feel like I must be the problem. I eventually turned inward, afraid to show my personality, to express my feelings and live unapologetically.”

The singer shared that Musgraves’ song, off her 2018 album Golden Hour, “helped me realize that I was fine all along, I just couldn’t see it.” For the past year, Allred has closed her shows with the song. Now she’s finally released a studio version.

Allred sounds amazing on the emotional cover. Fans seem to be loving the new release, as they shared their praise in the comments of Allred’s Instagram post promoting the track. One user called it “heavenly.”

The Singer Has Been Releasing Plenty of Music

Since competing on Britain’s Got Talent last year, Allred has been keeping busy as she releases more and more new music for fans to enjoy. That includes both covers and original songs. Most recently, she shared the original track “Aren’t You Tired.”

Before that, Allred released a cover of “You Say” by Lauren Daigle. She also released the original song “Last Thing I’ll Ever Need,” which she performed in the Finals of BGT. Allred may not have won the show, but she still wowed the judges and viewers with her stunning voice.

The singer earned a Golden Buzzer from judge Amanda Holden after performing “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman and revealing that she was the voice behind the iconic track in the 2017 film.
