‘BGT’ Golden Buzzer Loren Allred Releases Soulful New Single ‘Aren’t You Tired’

Britain’s Got Talent singer Loren Allred has released a new original single called “Aren’t You Tired (La Di Da).” The singer has been promoting the song on social media leading up to its release on Friday.
Loren Allred Releases New Single ‘Aren’t You Tired’
“Aren’t You Tired” is a soulful track backed by piano that shows off Allred’s vocal chops and ability to bring emotion to her performances. Allred shared on Instagram that she’s “unpacking my emotional baggage” on the song.
“Aren’t you tired of running / Running away / Of all the hurting from your past mistakes,” Allred sings on the single’s chorus. “Lay down with me and rest your heavy heart / Aren’t you tired of running / Running away.”
As Allred wrote on Instagram when she teased the song in November, “If you’ve ever dealt someone with who refuses to deal with their internalized problems, this song is for you.”
So far this year, the singer has been releasing studio versions of songs she performed on BGT, including a cover of “You Say” by Lauren Daigle and an original called “Last Thing I’ll Ever Need.” So it’s nice to hear something completely new from her.

Fans Are Loving Allred’s New Song
Allred co-wrote the new single with Michele Heyaca and James Shelley. The comments on the YouTube posting of the track are full of fans gushing about how much they enjoyed it.
“Loren Allred taking us ALL to Church,” wrote one user. Another commented, “I love listening to an Angel sing. Loren’s voice is so soothing and beautiful. I would love to hear her live.” Someone else told Allred that she sang the song “with true emotion.”
Allred placed ninth on Series 15 of Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, after earning the Golden Buzzer from judge Amanda Holden for her audition performance of “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. Allred was the voice of the song in the 2017 film.
