‘BGT’ Star Loren Allred Shows Off Her Voice on Emotional New Single
Britain’s Got Talent star Loren Allred, who is known for lending her voice to The Greatest Showman soundtrack, has released an emotional new single called “Last Thing I’ll Ever Need.” This is a longer, studio-recorded version of a song Loren performed on BGT.
BGT Star Loren Allred Releases New Single
Loren announced the release of the song on Instagram earlier this week, calling it “a song about the love I’d always hoped to find, and the love everyone deserves.” She thanked her co-writers, Michel Heyaca and James Shelley.
The 32-year-old singer previously performed this song in the BGT Series 15 Final. She earned a standing ovation from the judges, with Simon Cowell saying she should be on Broadway or the West End. Loren shared on Instagram that the full studio version has an extra bridge fans haven’t heard.
“From the bottom of my heart / To the top of my lungs,” Loren sings on the song’s chorus, showing off her powerful voice. “You’re the last thing I’ll ever need / The last thing I’ll ever need.”
Loren Made It to the ‘BGT’ Final This Year
Loren auditioned for Series 15 of Britain’s Got Talent this year, singing “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. The singer actually performed the song on the movie’s soundtrack, providing the singing voice for Rebecca Ferguson’s character Jenny Lind.
Judge Amanda Holden hit the Golden Buzzer for Loren, and the singer ended up making it all the way to the Final, where she finished in ninth place. Loren also previously competed on The Voice Season 3, making it to the Top 20 on Adam Levine’s team.
Recently, Loren performed on the PBS Capitol Fourth special, which aired on the Fourth of July. She also recently announced her first UK show, taking place at the Omeara in London on July 28.
