Actress Ashley Tisdale is joining the judging panel on the first season of The Masked Dancer and kids who grew up watching the Disney Channel could not be more excited. She rose to stardom at a young age and is ready to take on the world of talent competition shows.

She Is A Disney Channel Breakout Star
After taking on several minor film and television roles as a child, Ashley got her big break when she starred as Maddie Fitzpatrick in the hit Disney Channel series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She appeared on the smash hit from 2005-2008. In between that time, she played Sharpay Evans in High School Musical. Every song on the High School Musical soundtrack appeared on the Hot 100. She reprised the role in all three of the franchise’s movies.
Ashley also voiced the character of Candace Flynn on the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb from 2007 to 2015. She starred in a spinoff of High School Musical called Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure in 2011.

Ashley Tisdale Has Come Out With Her Own Original Music
Ashley saw major success in her television career from a very early age which sparked a record deal with Warner Bros. She put out her first album called Headstrong in 2007. It debuted No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Her song “He Said She Said” became very popular and was re-released to promote the album. Her second album Guilty Pleasure was not as much of a commercial success. This ended her contract with Warner Bros but did not stop her from putting out music.
Her third album Symptoms was released in 2019 through Big Noise Music Group. She was praised for how emotionally charged and personal the album was and how much she had grown as an artist.
She Is About To Become A Mom
Ashley began dating composer Christopher French in 2012 and was engaged a year later. The pair were married in 2014. In September 2020, Ashley announced that they were expecting their first child. In October, she announced that it’s a girl in a sweet gender reveal with a pink cake. Ashley’s baby bump has since been on full display on social media and she is six months along in her pregnancy.
The couple went on a babymoon in Big Sur, California to celebrate their big baby news. She spoke in a blog post about how people constantly questioned when she was going to have a baby. “I wasn’t ready for that step yet and I wanted to be selfish and have Chris all to myself for a while” she said. “Honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.” She said that she was “going through my mental health journey, it wouldn’t have been the right timing for such a huge life change.”

Ashley Has Become A Fan-Favorite Celebrity On TikTok
Like many celebrities, Ashley has grown quite the following on Tiktok. Longtime Disney fans love her TikTok dance videos as she currently has 64.5 million likes on the platform. Ashley often pays tributes to characters she has played in the past including her role in High School Musical by dancing to “We’re All in This Together.” This inspired her other castmates to do the same and have a mini-reunion using split-screen technology.

One thing that changes over the years is fashion. During her Disney Channel days, Ashley sported some bold looks on the red carpet. But, she isn’t afraid to look back at it and laugh. “My favorite [recent] meme I’ve seen of myself is my ‘iconic’ looks from the 2000s [Photoshopped] onto the Met Gala carpet,” she told Us Weekly. She poked fun at her old style on Twitter.
“What can I say, I was always so fashion-forward. And yes @gucci I am available for this campaign…bringing back my 2005 looks” she captioned a side by side photo of her old outfit and a Gucci runway.
Ashley is now a huge fashionista and a boss babe. She owns her own company called Frenshe. It is a health, wellness and beauty blog with a mission to spread self-love and body positivity. This platform provides her fans with information about everything from food sensitivity, plastic surgery, mental health and accepting your flaws. “I have done so much and experienced so much that I wanted to start to share my journey with my fans,” she said in an interview. “The health-and-wellness space is so overwhelming sometimes.”
