Wicked co-stars Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are apparently still together, despite rumors that they might have split. Their recent appearance at the new film’s London premiere fueled speculation of a breakup.
Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater Still Dating
According to a recent report from TMZ, Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are still dating. Sources close to the couple apparently denied rumors that the two stars have split. When the pair stood apart on the red carpet at the London premiere of Wicked: For Good, it only made things look more questionable.
Multiple witnesses who were present at Monday’s premiere told TMZ that Grande and Slater could be seen showing affection and holding hands backstage. The two apparently like to hang out at home together when they’re not working, which might explain why they’ve haven’t been seen much in public.
Sources told TMZ that Grande and Slater are private about their relationship, and they prefer to shift the focus from their personal lives to the movie they’re promoting. The second film in the Wicked series will be released in theaters on November 21.

The Pair Met While Filming Wicked
Grande and Slater first met while filming the Wicked movie adaptations, in which they play Glinda and Boq, respectively. News of their romance broke in the summer of 2023, around the same time they both officially called it quits with their former spouses.
The couple’s relationship sparked a fair amount of backlash, as fans speculated that cheating was involved. Slater’s divorce from his ex-wife Lilly Jay was especially controversial, as the former couple shares a young son.
When news broke of their relationship, a source told Us Weekly that the stars were both separated from their spouses when they got together. More than two years later, it appears that Grande and Slater’s romance is still going strong.
