‘American Idol’ Winner Laine Hardy Drops “Authentic” New Single

Season 17 American Idol winner Laine Hardy has been quite busy this summer with live shows, a performance on The Bachelorette, and now releasing a new single. This Louisiana native has 325,000 monthly listeners on spotify, and has put out nine singles since he won Idol in 2019.
The country singer did it again releasing a fast paced, guitar based, catchy tune. His new song was featured in Country Swag’s New Country Music playlist.
The ‘Idol’ star is making a name for himself in the country music industry. He even has upcoming concert dates with well known country star, Toby Keith. On top of his shows with Keith, he’s also teaming up with Monster to go on a Monster Energy Outbreak Tour.
There aren’t too many concert dates for the rest of the summer. But, he will be performing almost everyday in the months of September, October, and November.

Hardy was last seen on The Bachelorette on July 6 singing to the star Katie Thurston. Many think Hardy performed this gig to try to generate buzz for ticket sales. Regardless, he and his band performed “Memorize You” in a slow and sugary, all-acoustic style that had us swooning.
The scenes that include these guest performers typically include The Bachelorette slow dancing with one of her love interests. Fans are even saying that this song affected Thurston’s romance on the show during the slow dance. One mentioned how this song aided in her falling for Bachelor Blake. When other fans talked about how Hardy’s song should be played their wedding if they end up together.
