‘American Idol’ Winner Chayce Beckham Debuts Sexy Duet with Lindsay Ell
Reading Time: 2 minutes
American Idol Season 19 winner Chayce Beckham just released a new song with country artist Lindsay Ell called “Can’t Do Without Me.” We first learned about the collaboration last week, and the results didn’t disappoint.
The rock-edged country tune features some pretty steamy lyrics, as Beckham’s gritty tone blends with Ell’s more classic sound. Fans are already loving it.

“Can’t Do Without Me” kicks off with energetic drums and guitar. Beckham and Ell sing about how they’ve been waiting all day to see each other. “I can’t wait to hear you walk right through that door,” Ell sings, with Beckham replying, “I can’t wait to see that dress spend the night on the floor.”
“Baby I’m dying to catch that lightning I only find from your fingertips / I’ve been missing and wishing to feel your kiss and your hands all on my skin,” the artists sing on the chorus. “It won’t be long ’til we are burning up them sheets / And doing all those things that you can’t do without me.”
Beckham and Ell sound great together. Ell has a strong country voice that’s reminiscent of another American Idol winner — Carrie Underwood. It’s a nice contrast to Beckham’s raspier tone, without losing any power.
