American Idol and The Voice alum Allegra Miles has recently dropped her latest single this year, “Girl.” This song comes exactly one year after her 2022 release, “Tainted.“
Allegra Miles Releases Another Original Song
Over a month before she released the full single, Miles had already been teasing the song on social media. According to her, “Girl” is a composition she created for a girl that she has a “phat crush on.” The 20-year-old musician also described the song as a gay anthem for the girls.
“Wish I could control the fall / You could be my girl / You could rule my world / We could be a supersonic wave through the sky,” the lyrics read.
For those who may not know, Miles is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Clearly, she’s not been hiding her gender identity with her songs, fully expressing her emotions through her own lyrics.
Since its release, the American Idol alum has been receiving praises for her angelic vocals. One fan even wrote that “Girl” is her favorite out of all her original songs.
“Girl” is now available in all audio-streaming platforms. Miles has also released an official audio on YouTube.
She Thanks Fans for Supporting ‘Tainted’
Back in 2022, Miles released “Tainted,” a song that came from the “most painful experience” of her life. Interestingly, this song has gained a lot of support from her fans, becoming her second most listened song on Spotify.
“Writing this song healed me. it helped make sense of the overwhelming pain and brokenness that consumed me for so long,” she wrote. “Thank you for your continuous love on this one and sharing your stories with me – it means more than you will ever know and i love you.”
At the moment, her 2019 single “4 AM” remains to be her most popular song with over one million listens on Spotify.
