Alicia Keys is Officially the Most Certified Female Artist of the Millennium

Alicia Keys stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to promote her new young adult graphic novel Girl on Fire. During the show, Fallon announces that Keys has been certified as the most certified female R&B artists of the millennium.
“I have to be honest, I had to look up the word millennium,” Keys joked. “I was feeling really proud of that.”
The 15 time Grammy Award winning artist wore a body hugging green Zhivago dress. Keys paired her stunning look with sparkly green Paris Texas boots. During her chat with Fallon Keys reminisced about her time growing up in New York City as a young artist.
The star showed off her humble beginnings and described how she started, which entails using black curtains in hopes it would replicate a sound booth. It was a treat for fans of the singer to see how she started and how her career has flourished.
In classic married life fashion, Keys found out the information when her husband, producer Swizz Beats surprised her. The singer was washing the dishes when Swizz tried to get her reaction on camera.
With 27.5 million worldwide certified digital sales as well as 20 million album sales in the US, Keys has been able to achieve her latest accomplishment. The singer’s seventh studio album ALICIA was released in September 2020 and earned Keys her eighth number one album on the Billboard R&B Albums chart.
