‘AGT’ Preview: What To Expect Tomorrow? V. Unbeatable? Kodi Lee?
Reading Time: 3 minutes
Last week on AGT, six acts were eliminated from the competition, and we learned half of the official lineup for the finals. Is fan favorite Kodi Lee safe? Is his competition V.Unbeatable still in the running? Who’s competing in next week’s semifinals round? Read on to find out.
Which ‘AGT’ Acts Made It Through?
As Talent Recap predicted, America voted Kodi Lee, Benicio Bryant, and Tyler Butler-Figueroa as the top three acts last Tuesday night. They went straight through to the finals. Kodi Lee is obviously a front runner, but Benicio Bryant has been emerging as yet another dark horse.
Meanwhile, Light Balance Kids were sent to the finals by the Dunkin’ Save, and the judges chose to send Ndlovu Youth Choir forward. This is the group’s second time being saved from elimination.
Which ‘AGT’ Acts Were Eliminated?
Only five of this week’s acts could make it through to the finals, meaning we had to say goodbye to six others. The five acts with the least amount of votes from viewers were automatically eliminated. They were as follows:
Ansley Burns Is Still On AGT?
Most notable on this list is young country singer Ansley Burns, who has received second chance after second chance this season. After being stopped by Simon Cowell mid-song in her first two performances, she was brought back as a wildcard, then saved by the Dunkin’ Save. Her luck ran out this week.
The final contestant to be eliminated from the competition Wednesday night was blind singer Robert Finley. He was one of the three acts up for the Dunkin’ Save, but received neither America’s vote nor the judges’ choice.
Which ‘AGT’ Acts Are Performing Next Week?
Next week, we’ll see the second half of semifinals performances, and find out if Kodi Lee’s competition V.Unbeatable makes it through to the finals. Here’s the stellar lineup for next week’s show.
Alex Dowis, a blacklight painter
Chris Kläfford, a singer-songwriter
Detroit Youth Choir, a singing group
Dom Chambers, a magician
Emanne Beasha, an opera singer
Luke Islam, a Broadway-style singer
Marcin Patrzalek, a guitarist
Ryan Niemiller, a stand-up comedian
V.Unbeatable, a dance group
Voices of Service, a singing group
So you all can calm down, V. Unbeatable is still in the show and so is Emanne Beasha.
Who Is The ‘AGT’ Semifinals Wildcard Act?
The new semifinals episode will also feature a wildcard act — Lukas & Falco. This charming dog act was eliminated last week after they lost the judges’ choice to Marcin Patrzalek. We’re sure dog lover Simon will be happy to see them back on the stage.
The second semifinals episode will also feature another guest judge. This time, Queen Latifah will join the judging table. Tune in to NBC at 8/7c on Tuesday night to see the latest batch of performances.
