In a new twist in the AGT the show announced guest judges Sean Hayes and Queen Latifah. We’re used to seeing guest judges during the America’s Got Talent Judge Cuts round, and it’s always exciting to see which act each one chooses as their Golden Buzzer. Now, for the first time in AGT history, there will be a guest judge sitting at the table for each episode of the semi-finals!

‘AGT’ History: Guest Judges For The Semi-finals
During last week’s results show it was announced that this series history would be made this week, and AGT just announced on Twitter exactly who it would be made by: Emmy-winning Will & Grace actor Sean Hayes and singer and actress Queen Latifah!

Sean Hayes will guest judge tonight’s AGT semi-final episode, while Queen Latifah will guest judge next week’s. Both know the ins and outs of the industry and exude good vibes and positive energy without being too over-the-top about it and seem like they would fit in well among our regular judges so it’ll be interesting to see how they do in this new role! (Queen Latifah in particular is someone I’ve been hoping to see as a host or judge for a long time, so I have particularly high hopes for her!)
