‘AGT’ Fans Outraged About Winner After Fan Favorites Fail To Make Top 5

Season 15 of America’s Got Talent came to an end with poet Brandon Leake being declared the winner after America’s votes. While Brandon made history as the first poet to ever win the show, some fans are not too happy about the outcome. [Scroll down to get our reaction to this year’s win on our weekly Talent Recap show]

Brandon Leake Wins ‘AGT’ But Some Fans Are Disappointed

The two-night ‘AGT’ finale got off to a great start as 10 acts were vying for America’s votes. It really was a tossup of who was going to win. During night two of the finale, the 10 acts got to perform with special guests. It was definitely a night full of surprises as we had to wait until the last 30 minutes to find out which of the acts made it into the top five. The five contestants who received the most votes from America were Broken Roots, Christina Rae, Brandon Leake, Roberta Battaglia and Alan Silva. Fans were particularly upset that frontrunner Daneliya Tuleshova failed to make the top five. She has an incredible fan base all over the world and recieved nothing but praise from the judges. However, when it came down to votes, it just wasn’t enough for her to win the competition.

“I’ve been watching the #AGTfinals for 2 and a half hours just to see Daneliya Tuleshova not make the top 5? What a joke” wrote one fan on Twitter.

“How the hell is Daneliya Tuleshova not in the top 5 on AGT?? She should’ve been in the top 2!” wrote another.

Another tweet said “RIGGED!! No way Daneliya was not in the top 5. Lost a viewer #AGT@AGT.”

The Reveal Of The Top Three Acts Was Also Full Of Surprises

Terry Crews then revealed the top three acts to be Brandon Leake, Christina Rae and Broken Roots. This meant it was the end of the line for aerialist Alan Silva and Roberta Battaglia. She had been a frontrunner since the beginning as Sofia Vergara’s Golden Buzzer and a favorite of the judges. The most shocking result of all was that country duo Broken Roots who were initially eliminated from the competition but were brought back to replace Thomas Day made it to the final three. Fans were even more shocked when Christina was eliminated, leaving Broken Roots and Brandon as the top two acts.

Some questioned where the votes for Broken Roots came from.

Brandon ended up taking home the $1 million prize and still people were upset that their favorites did not even make it through to the top five.

Bad Salsa Was Also Left Out Of The Top 5 After Mind-Blowing Performance

Bad Salsa came all the way from India to perform at the ‘AGT’ finale after performing virtually for the entire season. Their performance during night one of the finale was outstanding and their fans truly thought they would make it to the top five. It was definitely one of the biggest snubs of the night.

Bad Salsa performed during the results show with V.Unbeatable in one of the most amazing performances ever to take the ‘AGT’ stage.

Our reaction to America’s Got Talent win on the weekly Talent Recap Show

Do you think America got it right with these ‘AGT’ results? Brandon is an incredible poet and a wiz with words so it’s not surprising that he resonated with so many people at home. Obviously, America thought he should win, even if it meant some other incredible acts had to go home. But the good news is for the eliminated acts, we are hoping another season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions is in the works to give them all a second chance.
