Famous Talent Show Stars Nominated For ‘American Music Awards’ 2020

Several talent show stars have also been nominated at this year’s American Music Awards, lets recap all the talented contestants and judges that might win a chance to win big this year.

Talent Show Stars Nominated For AMAs

American Idol alum Gabby Barrett, for example, was nominated for Favorite Female Artist – Country.

The Voice coach Blake Shelton was nominated for Favorite Song – Country for his duet with girlfriend Gwen Stefani, “Nobody But You.” He was also nominated for Favorite Album – Country. Meanwhile, their fellow coach John Legend was nominated for Favorite Male Artist – Soul/R&B.


The 2020 American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 22, at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC. Tune in to find out if your favorite artists win their categories.

K-pop is also taking the world by storm, and it’s not just BTS. The nominations for the 2020 American Music Awards have been announced, and BTS is one of three K-pop boy bands to earn nominations.

BTS And Other K-Pop Groups Nominated At The AMAs

This year at the American Music Awards, BTS is nominated for Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock, along with the Jonas Brothers and Maroon 5. They’re also up for the Favorite Social Artist award, along with fellow K-pop groups EXO and NCT 127. Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande are the other nominees.

BTS won Favorite Duo or Group last year, and has won Favorite Social Artist two years in a row. In terms of social media presence, BTS has over 32 million followers, compared to EXO’s 8 million and NCT 127’s 9 million.

Still, it’s impressive that three K-pop groups have earned nominations at one of American music’s biggest award shows. BTS in particular has had an amazing year, performing at the MTV Video Music Awards and on America’s Got Talent.
