On Thursday night, former The Real host Tamar Braxton was found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Los Angeles, California. She is currently in stable condition but remains unconscious. Her fans took to Twitter to voice their concerns and send their prayers.
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Winner Tamar Braxton Was Hospitalized
Tamar’s boyfriend David Adefeso found her unresponsive and called 911. According to The Blast, he alerted the police that she had been drinking and took prescription pills. Sources first said it was a possible suicide attempt. But Tamar’s YouTube account points to a different story. She and David’s live YouTube show called Coupled & Quarantined did not air on Thursday and instead, a statement was put out to explain why. “Hello y’all, unfortunately, your girl Tamar is under the weather today and not feeling well so we need to postpone today’s show (don’t worry it’s not COVID),” the statement said. “We’re sad because we had a great show lined up for you today, but next week’s show is going to be even bigger and better.”

Fans On Twitter Showed Love For Tamar
Tamar who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2019 is also a mother to seven-year-old son Logan that she shares with ex-husband Vincent Herbert. Fans took to Twitter to express how heartbroken they were to hear about this news. “Tamar has been one of my favorite artists for YEARS so this really hits different. I hope she’s ok & eventually gets the help she needs to recover from whatever she’s going through” said one fan of the singer turned reality star.
“God damn, not Tamar!! Suicide and mental illness are real, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. But, I refuse to believe this story!! I pray her soul is alright, I pray she pulls through this! I pray her family’s hearts are okay. This is shocking!” said another.
People Are Concerned For Both Nick Cannon And Tamar Braxton’s Mental Health
Another celebrity that has faced a ton of backlash lately is Nick Cannon who was fired from Viacom after making anti-Semitic comments. He has since apologized but felt like he was being turned on by his own community. He posted some alarming tweets that have fans concerned about his mental health. They began tweeting about both him and Tamar finding the help they need to cope with everything going on in their lives. “Prayers up for Tamar Braxton & Nick Cannon. The spirit of suicide is real. Our celebrities often find themselves in an entanglement of Public Opinion, and it’s taxing on the spirit. Let us not forget that they are human beings first” said one fan.
“Woke up to see the timeline in shambles and pain, yet again. Praying for Tamar to pull through and I pray Nick finds peace as well. Every day there’s a new reason why 2020 is too much” said another.
