Dancing with the Stars has shared a teaser trailer for the show’s upcoming spin-off series The Next Pro, which seeks to cast a new pro dancer for Season 35 of the show. The clip gives fans a sneak peek of the 12 contestants.
DWTS: The Next Pro Trailer Teases Competition
DWTS: The Next Pro will be hosted by Season 34 Mirrorball champion Robert Irwin. He appears in the show’s trailer, saying, “For the first time in Dancing with the Stars history, the greatest dancers will compete for a spot as the next pro.”
The trailer includes clips of the show’s 12 competing dancers, who show off some of their best moves in a studio setting as dramatic music plays. As Irwin says to close the teaser, “This summer, let the fiercest dance battle begin.”
The Next Pro will premiere July 13 on ABC, with episodes available to stream the following day on Hulu. The show will feature Mark Ballas and his mom Shirley Ballas as judges, with various DWTS pros making guest appearances.
