Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen'

Dancing With the Stars is back this fall with a brand new season. Along with a new season comes a brand new celebrity cast. Ahead of the premiere this fall, the show has officially released the first two celebrity dancers of the season.

Maura Higgins, Ciara Miller Join the DWTS Season 35 Cast

During Disney’s recent press event, it was revealed that Love Island UK star Maura Higgins and Summer House star Ciara Miller. Both women appeared on The Traitors. Miller starred in season 3, while Higgins placed second in season 4.

Fans of the long-running talent competition series have taken this announcement running. There are nearly 2,500 comments on each cast announcement post as of writing.

Dancing With The Stars has yet to announce an official release date of Season 35 thus far. In addition, professional dancers have yet to be announced.

The Competition Show Launches a Brand New Spin Off

During this press event, Dancing With The Stars’ newest spin off series was announced. The series is set to feature 12 up-and-coming dancers who “move into one house and compete in a grueling audition process, all vying for a coveted spot as a pro dancer.”

The winner of the series will be a new professional dancer on DWTS season 35. Hosting this series is none other than Mirrorball Champion Robert Irwin. Meanwhile, DWTS pro Mark Ballas, and his mother Shirley Ballas are judges on the series. In addition, the show will feature a rotating lineup of guest judges and mentors.
