‘Asia’s Got Talent’ Contortionists Show Off Amazing Acrobatics

A group of contortionist acrobats wowed the judges on Asia’s Got Talent in 2015. The act, called Flexie Buddies, showed off some jaw-dropping moves.
Contortionists Audition For ‘Asia’s Got Talent’
Flexie Buddies, a group of contortionist acrobats from the Philippines, wore black bodysuits with hoods and tails to their Asia’s Got Talent audition, making the artists look like cats.

The group started the act with some impressive flips. Then they went on to create a tower with their bodies. The final person in the tower completing a handstand by balancing on another person’s torso.
Got Talent judge Anggun flinched as the group performed the dangerous moves, while Mel C was amazed. Flexie Buddies finished the audition with another elaborate human tower, waving their arms as they held on with their legs.
What Did the Judges Think of the Audition?
“That was incredible. My heart was in my mouth,” Got Talent Mel C said after Flexie Buddies’ performance.
David Foster added, “I’m trying to do yoga now, and I can’t even do any of it. That was just amazing.”
Many YouTube commenters on the group’s audition were impressed by their talent, but they had one very specific complaint — that Flexie Buddies’ costumes were too dark.

“The stage’s background and lightings are dark so they need to compliment with it…. so that their flexes and curves will become more visible,” one commenter wrote.
Another viewer suggested they try white costumes to stand out more.
Foster gave the group “a very unflexible yes.”
The other judges agreed with him, sending Flexie Buddies to the next round of the competition. The group was thrilled to be moving on.
