Before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Green was slated to dance on the show with Burgess. It’s actually how they met before becoming a couple. Green wanted to finally dance on the show when Covid restrictions were lifted, but only if he could dance with somebody who loves him.

Green has had so many television and movie roles but Dancing with the Stars will definitely allow him to show his personality next to his real-life partner. Let’s take a deep dive and learn five facts about him as he is gearing up to make his dancing debut.

5 Facts About ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Contestant Brian Austin Green

His Claim To Fame Was His Breakout Role On ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’

Green is probably best remembered for his role in the cult phenomenon Beverly Hills, 90210. He portrayed the character, David Silver, from 1990 to 2000, a character that very much resembled his own personality. Green won the Best Young Actor Award at the Young Artist Awards twice.

He even found love off-screen with his co-star Tiffani Thiessen. The pair dated from 1992 to 1995. Love was in the air for Green yet again when he began dating another co-star Vanessa Marcil in 1999.

He and Marcil were later engaged and welcomed their son Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green in 2002. The pair planned a wedding, but broke up in 2003. He directed an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 in season 10. The episode was a part of the reboot that aired on Fox.

Brian Austin Green Was Married To Hollywood Starlet Megan Fox

When actress Megan Fox was 18 years old, she met Green on the set of ABC’s Hope and Faith. They had an instant attraction and were always defending their 13 year age difference to the media. The pair dated on and off for six years before they wed in 2010. They welcomed two sons Noah and Bodhi during this time. After five years of marriage, they separated in 2015. Eight months later, Megan was pregnant with the couple’s third child, Journey.

In 2016 it seemed like the couple had worked past their issues and were back together. She even filed to dismiss their court case. In 2020 they called it quits once again. Green recently filed for joint custody of their three children. Megan is now dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly while Brian is very publicly in love with Burgess.

Green Is A Dedicated Dad, Shut Down Cyberbullies

Green posted a photo of three of his sons in the back seat of his car as they were on their way to Target. People in the comments section began criticizing the children for having long hair.

“I’ve read some of the comments here,” he wrote back. “I’m not saying anything is right or wrong. I think some people with different opinions are attacked because opinions usually start with the words ‘I think’ or something similar. When people state opinions as facts is when arguments happen.”

“The fact is my boys have and like long hair. In my opinion, they are beautiful and will still be and possibly be mistaken for girls if they wore matching short and t-shirt combos and had short hair” he continued. “Some people like boys and men with long hair. Some people don’t. Both opinions are ok.”

Green Had One Of The Most Shocking ‘Masked Singer’ Reveals Ever

Green competed as The Giraffe on season four of The Masked Singer. Nobody ever expected him to be under the mask as the rapping giraffe dressed in colonial garb. The judges thought it was Shia LaBeouf under the mask after references to Fox, Shia’s Transformers co-star were made in the clue package. Nobody was more shocked than Green’s former best friend Robin Thicke who is on the judging panel.

He Released a Rap Album With Robin Thicke

Thicke and Green actually were in a hip hop duo and put out a rap album together when they were younger.

“I grew up with Robin, I’ve known Robin my whole life,” Brian said. “We were best friends for probably three years. So that dude knew my voice before I went through puberty and my voice changed. So he knows my cadence, he knows everything about that. And I said to [The Masked Singer] producers in the beginning, ‘The one that I’m most worried about is Robin. If anybody is going to figure out my voice, he is, because he knows me.'”

“I love Robin, but he’s terrible at that game. He’s horrible,” Brian continued. The pair had sleepovers together when they were younger and guest-starred on an episode of Growing Pains together.
