Ashley Banjo to fill in for Simon Cowell during ‘BGT’ finals
Britain’s Got Talent has announced that Diversity frontman, Ashley Banjo will fill in for Simon Cowell in this weekend’s finals episode.
The TV personality who has a good amount of judging experience on shows such as Got To Dance and Dancing On Ice will now return to the show that gave him and his team the success that they have achieved after winning the competition in 2009.

Diversity returned to BGT just last year for a spectacular performance at the final, celebrating 10 years since their audition went viral across the world.
Ashley captioned when announcing the news on Instagram: “Funny what can change in a year – Let alone in a lifetime…”

Simon Cowell appears on both the American and British version of the show, meaning both shows have had to replace the TV judge after his nasty bike accident earlier this month.
Kelly Clarkson and Kenan Thompson were featured as guest judges in the most recent episodes of America’s Got Talent’s live shows.

The show, however, has just announced that they are ditching a guest judge for tomorrow’s episode and plans to keep it ‘all in the family’ for the next batch of live performances.
