How Britain’s Got Talent finals will work with a virtual audience

After months of anticipation, Britain’s Got Talent will return next weekend for what we hope to be a sensational round of final shows.

The talent competition was halted after auditions aired due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, however with cases down, ITV has given the all-clear for certain shows to return with strict social distancing measures.

NBC, home of America’s Got Talent also granted access for the American version to air, with the show now in full swing in a new studio, designed to suit state regulations on large crowds and social distancing.

Britain’s Got Talent is now set to follow with a similar styled set using a virtual audience. And, the question we’re now all asking is how can you take part?

“There is an incredible new studio set and YOU can part of it by joining us remotely from your very own home!” a statement now reads on the official Applause Store website.

Everything you need to know about Britain’s Got Talent’s next round of shows

We don’t know much about the format of the show right now, but we do know the odd bit of information about what we can expect. Producers are calling the next round, ‘Britain’s Got Talent: The Finalists‘, with the first episode airing for 90 minutes, August 30th at 6:30pm on ITV.

We’re not quite show how the rest of the dates planned will work out with set programming but we expect at least one of the upcoming final shows to be live, which more than likely be the finale.

As for who will be returning, the only guaranteed acts are the Golden Buzzer performances, chosen earlier this year.
