Dustin’s Dojo made headlines with their overly hilarious performance at the auditions of America’s Got Talent season nine. The duo of Dustin and Terry are karate experts that won the hearts of all AGT viewers with their wild antics.
What Did They Do Before America’s Got Talent?
As they make a highly anticipated return on the AGT All-Stars stage, we look back at their karate history and how they got started. Before they amused former AGT judge Howard Stern and received his Golden Buzzer, the duo were eccentric childhood friends.
Dustin had dreams of becoming a karate instructor who teaches kids self defence, as well as star in action movies. Terry on the other hand, became the silent sidekick to Dustin’s many outrageous antics. The duo strived to learn karate at Roger Bakers Taekwondo and Pizza in Pensacola, Florida.
After earning a black belt in karate, he decided to name their group Dustin’s Dojo, with the sole purpose of teaching everyone self defence, in a comedic way. Their first step to their ultimate goal is to make it big in AGT starting with their highly memorable audition.
They Make a Historic Return AGT: All Stars as a Trio
The group returns as a trio in the upcoming AGT spin-off that will air this January. With a new member joining the karate experts, fans can expect more troublesome acts from them coming in 2023.
The fans are highly excited for their return with some of them expressing how ready they are to learn how to defend yourself from attackers. They expressed their excitement in the comments section of Dustin’s Dojo’s official Instagram post.
“I hope you show them some karate and also show everyone else how to do karate. I was born in the right generation, but watch out for attackers.” a fan commented
Although we can’t expect to learn actual effective self-defence tactics from the group, we can find amusement in their teachings nonetheless. We can catch their return on the big stage on AGT All-Stars this January.
