What Happens When Talent Show Contestants Show Their Love For Simon Cowell

Talent Show mogul Simon Cowell is arguably the hardest to impress during talent competition shows. Nonetheless, it doesn’t stop contestants from expressing their love for him. From giving him a gift, to letting him know his name is tattooed on their skin, talent show participants have numerous ways to shock and bewilder the famous judge.

1. Bupsi Brown, X Factor UK 2015
Daring enough to tell Cowell that she’s willing to get “nasty” for her audition, 37-year-old Bupsi Brown tried to impress by singing The Beatles’ “All My Loving.” To everyone’s surprise though, Brown seductively crawled onto the panel’s table to get Cowell’s yes. Doing a split in the middle of the performance for extra impact, Brown successfully changed Cowell’s indifference and managed to get through to the next round.
2. Big Benji, America’s Got Talent 2017
Benchavan Shale said she’s “fond of bald men, but has nonetheless fallen in love with Simon Cowell.” Big Benji’s audition consisted of singing Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E,” which has apparently failed to impress Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum. Despite not advancing to the next round, Big Benji walked away happy because she got a kiss from Simon Cowell.
3. Viggo Venn, Britain’s Got Talent 2023
During his winning performance, Viggo Venn serenaded Simon Cowell, gifting him with roses and a hi-vis jacket. Such performance apparently failed to impress the crowd who booed him after knowing he won the competition.
4. The Cow Belles, America’s Got Talent 2023
Puppet Simon and The Cow Belles were a group of puppets who charmed the audience with their Simon Cowell-focused performance. During their audition, they performed “Toxic” by Britney Spears and “Somebody to Love” by Queen. Vergara buzzed their act but nevertheless got three yeses from the rest of the panel.
5. Miranda Cunha, America’s Got Talent 2016
Perhaps no one will ever forget Miranda Cunha and her bold act to impress Simon Cowell. During her audition, she sang to “Bésame Mucho” while dancing sensually around the mogul. At the end of her performance, she kissed Cowell on the lips, which shocked the whole auditorium.
6. Ms. Trysh, America’s Got Talent 2018
Ms. Trysh was a contestant on America’s Got Talent season 13. Her audition consisted of dedicating Gladys Knight & The Pips’ “If I Were Your Woman” to Cowell. With her genuine performance, all members of the panel voted yes.
7. Kayleigh Taylor, X Factor UK 2017
There’s no better way to leave Simon Cowell speechless than showing off his name tattooed on your lower back. Kayleigh Taylor just did that during her audition on the X Factor UK. The judges were initially weirded out by her tattoo, but became impressed right after she began singing.
8. Irina Dedyuk, X Factor UK 2016
When Russian model Irina Dedyuk graced the audition room, she immediately caught Cowell’s attention. Wearing skintight leggings and a plunging sheer top, Dedyuk powerfully belted out Tina Turner’s “Simply The Best.” The singer clearly impressed Cowell successfully with him giggling and blushing in amusement.
9. Lili Davies, Britain’s Got Talent 2020
Lili Davies auditioned for season 14 of Britain’s Got Talent as a comedic musician. During her audition, she announced that she was going to perform an original song for “somebody I have a crush on.” Initially believed to be David Walliams, Davies denied the speculation and confessed that she’s rather into Cowell. Then, she sang her song which explained her admiration for the music mogul.
10. Keri Graham, Britain’s Got Talent 2013
Keri Graham is a former stripper who joined season seven of Britain’s Got Talent as a burlesque dancer. Her audition consisted of performing chair exercises and stripping to her underwear. Later on, Walliams requested if Cowell could be on the chair while Graham dances around him, thus granted.
