Two Celebrities to be Unmasked During ‘The Masked Singer’ Showdown
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer returns on Wednesday night for the third episode of Season 7, and this time two celebrities will be unmasked. Only one contestant will move on from the remaining three in the season’s first group.
‘The Masked Singer’ to Feature Double Elimination
This week’s new episode will feature a showdown between Firefly, Cyclops, and Thingamabob, who represent the Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly, respectively. These contestants made it through the first two episodes without being unmasked, but only one of them will survive this week’s round.
Last week, Firefly was put into a duel with Ram to decide which contestant should be eliminated. Firefly wasn’t happy about these results, and they shocked the judges by walking off the stage. They eventually returned and put on a performance that saved them from elimination.
Thingamabob and Cyclops both earned enough votes last week to move on, but at least one of them will be unmasked on Wednesday night. Thingamabob made judge Ken Jeong cry in the last episode with a performance of “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.

We’ll Have to Wait for the Rudy Giuliani Reveal
It looks like we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to see the much-hyped Rudy Giuliani unmasking, which reportedly made Keng Jeong and Robin Thicke walk off the set. The Masked Singer teased us with the possibility last week, but the drama turned out to be Firefly’s exit.
Based on the clues we’ve seen, it doesn’t look like Giuliani is under any of the remaining masks in this first group. Reports stated that the reveal happened during taping of the first episode, but it’s possible that the show has mixed up the schedule to throw us off.
The show hasn’t teased any particularly dramatic moments this week, but having two celebrities unmasked is pretty exciting in itself. The Masked Singer Season 7 returns Wednesday night at 8/7c on FOX.
