Turkish Soccer Player Admits To Killing His Bedridden Son Suffering From COVID

Turkish soccer player, Cevher Toktas has admitted in a statement to killing his son in the hospital. The 5-year-old boy was being treated for the possibility of having the Coronavirus before he was suffocated by his father. Read Toktas’ chilling statement below.

Soccer player, Cevher Toktas Confesses To Killing 5-Year-Old Son

Cevher Toktas, a soccer player in Turkey has reportedly killed his son, whilst the 5-year-old was in hospital being examined for Coronavirus. Whilst the young child did test negative for Coronavirus, the boy was in critical condition after his father suffocated him.

Toktas said in a statement that he did not like his son from birth and confessed to suffocating his son to death with a pillow as a result. The Bursa Office of the Prosecutor released a statement on behalf of Toktas: “I pressed a pillow on my son who was lying on his back. For 15 minutes, I pressed down on the pillow without lifting it up. My son was struggling during that time. After he stopped moving, I lifted the pillow. Then I yelled for doctors to help to draw any suspicions away from me,” read the statement.

“I never loved my younger son after he was born. I don’t know why I don’t love him. The sole reason why I killed him that day is because I didn’t like him. I don’t have any mental issues.”

Before the soccer player made his confession, Toktas blamed his son’s death on Coronavirus. After he’d suffocated the 5-year-old with a pillow, he called for doctors, attempting to play the situation off.

Cevher Toktas will now face trial and will likely face a life sentence in prison.

Twitter reacts to the murder of Cevher Toktas’s son

Many have taken to Twitter to express their strong feelings on the shocking event over recent days, with many attacking the footballer and wishing the death penalty to be brought against Toktas.

“Turkish footballer Cevher Toktas suffocated his son after his son was believed to have coronavirus. He said he killed his son because “he didn’t love him”– What a vile fucking cunt,” wrote one user, responding to the news.

Another responded wishing the footballer to face the death penalty: “Wait if this is real bring back the death penalty”
