Tom Cruise Reportedly Wants to Rekindle Romance with Sofia Vergara

Tom Cruise is reportedly interested in rekindling his romance with America’s Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara now that she’s separated from her husband Joe Manganiello. Cruise and Vergara dated briefly back in 2005.
Is Tom Cruise Pursuing a Romance with Sofia Vergara?
Last month, Vergara and Manganiello announced their separation after seven years of marriage. The Mirror reports that, according to Heat magazine, Cruise is interested in pursuing “the one that got away.”
“They do have that history already, even if it was more of a brief dalliance than a fully-fledged romance,” a source told the outlet. “They had a special time together partying in the Hollywood hills and having a blast. Sofia wasn’t really giving out the signals back then that she wanted anything long-term, so it petered out in a totally amicable fashion and they remained friends.”
The source went on to say that it has “always eaten away at Tom” that he let Vergara go. The actors dated for a brief time in 2005. The next year, Cruise married Katie Holmes, with whom he shares daughter Suri.
Vergara apparently “checks almost every box” for Cruise. Meanwhile, sources say that Vergara is “going to let her hair down and party for a while.” She’s apparently not interested in dating until the divorce is finalized.

Cruise Was Rumored to Be Pursuing Shakira
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Cruise has been rumored to be interested in dating a famous Colombian woman. Earlier this year, the actor was reportedly pursuing Shakira after they were seen together at the Miami Grand Prix.
However, Shakira is reportedly not interested in Cruise romantically. The singer split from her longtime partner Gerard Piqué last year amid rumors that he cheated on her. The former couple shares two sons together, Milan and Sasha.
Cruise, meanwhile, has been married three times — to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and to Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.
