The Voice Season 22 finalists Brayden Lape and Morgan Myles may have competed on different teams, but that hasn’t stopped them from collaborating on new music together. Lape just filmed his first music video, and Myles was on hand to help.
The Voice‘s Brayden Lape, Morgan Myles Work on New Music
Brayden and Myles posted clips this week showing them working in the studio on new music. As Myles says in one clip, they were “recording some final vocals for Mr. Brayden.” In another video, Myles sings along to the recorded track.
In Instagram stories, Brayden also shared that he and Myles were writing “a few songs” together. The singer, who finished in fifth place on Team Blake, is 16 years old and just starting out in the music industry. Myles, on the other hand, is an experienced musician who shared on The Voice that she’s been in Nashville for 16 years.
Brayden wasted no time shooting his first music video, also with Myles’ help. In another set of clips, he could be seen playing guitar and singing in an empty high school. On Thursday, he shared some photos from the shoot on Instagram, teasing that the song is called “Hand It to You.”

Myles Is Making Her Grand Ole Opry Debut Soon
Brayden isn’t the only one doing exciting things after The Voice. Myles, who finished in third place on Team Camila, is making her Grand Ole Opry debut next month. She’ll be performing at the Ryman Auditorium on January 6.
Myles shared an emotional video of the moment she received the call offering her a spot to perform. On Instagram, the singer said it was “truly an honor.” Myles will be performing the same night as Gary Mule Deer, Rory Feek, Vince Gill, Maggie Rose, and more. She encouraged fans to buy tickets to the show.
Season 22 runner-up Bodie (who was on Team Blake with Brayden) also recently shared that he’s working on new music. He teased a snippet of an original song for fans on social media earlier this week.
