‘The Voice’ Runner-Up Bodie Teases New Music for Fans

The Voice Season 22 runner-up Bodie is already in the studio working on new music, and he shared a teaser of a new song on social media this week. The snippet got fans excited to hear more from the singer.
The Voice Runner-Up Bodie Teases New Music
On Wednesday, Bodie posted a video to Instagram showing him performing part of an original song. As he wrote in the post’s caption, “so stoked for u guys to hear what i’ve been working on. had to give u a little teaser.”
He begins the clip by setting up the instrumentals, including guitar, drums, and bass. Then he takes the microphone and starts performing the new track. He starts by singing, “Wake me up if I’m dreaming / There’s no hole in my heart, and you’re the reason.” Later, he sings, “We make loving look easy.”
“I’m so excited. I have a bunch of songs I’m working on right now, and it’s some of the best stuff I’ve ever made,” Bodie said on Instagram stories after posting the teaser. He encouraged fans to watch the clip and share what they think.
Fans shared their love for the new track in the comments, with one person writing, “I love it. Can’t wait to hear it on the radio.” Another wrote, “your album needs to come out now or im sueing [sic] life.”

The Singer Finished Season 22 in Second Place
Bodie turned four chairs with his Blind Audition on The Voice Season 22. He chose to join Blake Shelton’s team, where he remained for the rest of the competition. The singer made it all the way to the Finals, where he was announced as one of the Top 3.
Fellow Team Blake member Bryce Leatherwood ended up winning the season. It was unclear during the finale whether Bodie or Team Camila artist Morgan Myles came in second place. However, the show soon clarified that Bodie was the runner-up.
Earlier this month, Bodie posted on Instagram that he was in “album mode.” While we’re waiting to hear more from him, the singer already has several singles and EPs available to stream.
