The Voice Star Morgan Myles to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

Myles recently shared a video of herself in the car with her dad (who was driving) as they made their way from Los Angeles to Nashville after her time on The Voice. The singer received a call from Jenn Tressler asking if she’d like to make her Grand Ole Opry debut.

Upon hearing the offer, Myles immediately burst into tears. She was so busy thanking Tressler and sharing her excitement that she forgot to say “yes” until Tressler confirmed it. Myles will be performing at the Ryman Auditorium on January 6, 2023.

Later on, Myles shared a post announcing the performance, sharing that she still wasn’t even home yet. She added that she’ll “figure out an after party here soon.” Myles called it “truly an honor” and encouraged fans to get tickets.

Myles will be performing the same night as Gary Mule Deer, Rory Feek, Vince Gill, Maggie Rose, and more. The show starts at 7 p.m. at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Myles Came in Third Place on Season 22

During last week’s The Voice Season 22 finale, host Carson Daly announced that Myles, Bodie, and Bryce Leatherwood were in the Top 3. He then announced that Leatherwood had won the competition. That left fans wondering who came in second place.

A press release from NBC after the finale confirmed that Leatherwood’s fellow Team Blake artist Bodie was runner-up, while Myles came in third place. That means that coach Blake Shelton had artists in first and second place. Another artist from his team, Brayden Lape, came in fifth place. Team Legend’s Omar Jose Cardona came in fourth.

The Voice will return next year for Season 23, premiering March 6 on NBC.
