Franc West vs Tyshawn Colquitt (Team JHud)
Starting off the night, we have Franc and Tyshawn going head to head. Franc was the first to perform and chose the song Call Out My Name while Tyshawn followed with Pillowtalk. The judges were pretty torn and agreed that both performances were stellar, however, ultimately it was JHud’s decision and she went with Franc. She said his distinct voice will set him apart in the live shows and that’s why she chose him to go through to the next round. Although the journey is over for Tyshawn, both JHud and Kelly said they would have saved him if they could.

Abby Cates vs Claire DeJean (Team Kelly)
It’s always a bold moving choosing to sing a Kelly Clarkson song in front of Kelly herself, and that’s exactly what Abby did with the song choice Because of You. Kelly shares that she wanted the hit song to sound different when she was recording it, so she’s having Abby sing it the way she wishes she had. Claire picked Shawn Mendez’s There’s Nothin Holding Me Back and although both artists performed incredibly well their styles are too similar for both to stay. Ultimately, Kelly chose Abby to move onto the live shows.

Dave Fenley vs Kameron Marlowe (Team Blake)
This country duo both had strong performances tonight. With Dave singing Stuck on You and Kameron singing I Shot The Sheriff, they wanted to show that they can sing outside of their country genre. Ultimately, Blake chose Dave but the end of the road wasn’t near for Kameron because he was stolen by Adam. Both men are on their way to the live shows!
Well, there you have it, night two of The Knockouts. Which performance tonight was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
