‘The Voice’ Star Parijita Bastola Earns a Standing Ovation
One of the standout performers this season has been 17-year-old four-chair turn Parijita Bastola on John Legend’s team. On Monday night, she delivered yet another powerful performance, this time singing Lady Gaga’s “I’ll Never Love Again.”
The singer showed off an incredible amount of emotion in the performance. Parijita brought all four coaches to their feet and prompted Camila Cabello to joke, “Who hurt Parijita?” She went on to describe the performance as “so masterful.”
Team Legend also had another powerhouse performance from Kim Cruse on Monday. She sang “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)” by Aretha Franklin. Blake Shelton said she’s the only artist on the show who could take on an Aretha song. Legend praised her for showing “both power and subtlety at the same time.”

Kate Kalvach Overcomes Technical Issue in Beautiful Performance
Another notable performance from Monday night came from Kate Kalvach on Team Camila. Kate was stolen from Blake Shelton’s team in the Knockouts. Tonight, she performed “You’re Still the One” by Shania Twain.
Kate had some technical issues at the start of the performance, which she later explained was a problem with her in-ear monitor, as she said that her voice wasn’t in her ears. Cabello told her she “handled that like a total pro,” while Stefani said she couldn’t even tell there was a problem.
Another strong performance on Team Camila came from four-chair turn Morgan Myles, who performed Patty Griffin’s “Let Him Fly.” Shelton was glad to hear her sing something country, telling her that her “pitch was perfect.” Cabello praised her storytelling.
Blake Shelton Predicts Bodie Will Be in the Finale
Monday night’s episode ended with a performance from Team Blake’s four-chair turn Bodie, who sang “Glimpse of Us” by Joji. Stefani said she wasn’t expecting him to sing a song like that, calling the performance “mind-blowing.”
Meanwhile, Shelton pointed out how much the crowd seemed to enjoy the performance, adding that Bodie “blew us all away.” He ended his comments with a prediction, telling Bodie, “I’ll see you in the finale.”
Other memorable performances from Monday’s show included Kique’s unique take on Harry Styles’ “As It Was” on Team Gwen, Devix’s stylish performance of “Sex on Fire” by Kings of Leon on Team Camila, and Brayden Lape’s tender cover of “Buy Dirt” by Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan on Team Blake.
Don’t forget to vote for your favorite artists, and be sure to tune in to Tuesday night’s results show to find out who made it through to next week’s show.
