The Voice Kids UK is set to return to iTV in late 2022. This United Kingdom based television series is a junior version of The Voice. Children aged seven to 14 compete in The Voice Kids UK for a chance to win a cash prize of £30,000and a family holiday.
The Voice KidsUK Will Return to iTV With Three Part Television Series Format
The upcoming season of the series strives to find more talented children to compete for the title of The Voice Kids Champion 2022. This spin off of The Voice series is extremely similar to the adult series, but there are no knockout rounds. This series historically begins with the blind auditions, moves on to the battle rounds, then goes on to the semifinals and live finals. In 2021, The Voice Kids UK season five premiered a different, shorter format that featured blind auditions and final performances.
The Voice Kids UK is now filming it’s sixth season in the United Kingdom. The coaching panel of the series looks a little different this season due to Melanie C‘s upcoming tour. Irish singer, Ronan Keating will sit in place of Melanie C on the coaching panel. Other coaches, Will.i.am, Pixie Lott, and Danny Jones will return to their coaching chairs. Emma Willis remains as the host of this series.

Season five of The Voice Kids UK is a bit different than past seasons. This series aired in only three days, from Dec 27 to Dec 29, 2021 and it was pretty successful for the network. The Voice Kids UK averaged 3.89 million viewers with the three part formatting. Although this number isn’t astronomical for the series, ratings were up about 200,0000 viewers from past seasons.
Since the three part series brought in higher numbers, the network has decided to follow the format once again. Fans can expect to see this series around the end of Dec in 2022. Who will be crowned The Voice Kids Champion 2022? Time will only tell.
