Jamie Lee Harrison’s Journey on Britain’s Got Talent

In 2017, Jamie Lee Harrison walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage with clear nerves. He was only 24 years old, but was ready to take his career to the next level. In his audition, he sang “Everybody Hurts” by REM.

The judges were clearly impressed with his voice, acknowledging that they were glad he didn’t give up on his dreams. He earned four “yeses” and continued into the semi finals. In this round, he sang “Piece by Piece” by Kelly Clarkson. This song, which is extremely difficult from a vocal standpoint, solidified Jamie’s abilities.

Simon Cowell even said Jamie’s voice is “better than you know.” Unfortunately, he didn’t make it any longer in the competition, but he did go on to release albums Reflection (2017), Powerful (2018), and United in Music (2020).
