‘The Voice’ Announces Season 28 Coaches — Fan Favorites Return!

With The Voice‘s spring season coming to the end soon, NBC has released the show’s upcoming coaches for their iconic 28th season. Fan favorite coaches are set to return to the red chairs this fall.
Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg Return to The Voice This Fall
With the upcoming finale of The Voice on Tuesday, May 20, it’s no surprise that NBC is announcing their next season coaches. This fall, Michael Bublé will be returning as a coach alongside fan favorite, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg.
Since NBC’s announcement, fans have been quick to comment their excitement for this upcoming panel. For those who may not know, Snoop Dogg, Horan, and McEntire were all coaches on previous seasons of The Voice. Snoop Dogg was a coach in Season 26 with McEntire, who had been on the panel from Seasons 24 to 26. Horan on the other hand won consecutive seasons, Seasons 23 and 24 previously.
One Direction are especially excited to see Horan return to the show. Following his consecutive winning seasons, fans continued talking about how they hoped his departure from the series would be limited.
Who is Returning for The Voice Finale Performances?
The upcoming finale of The Voice is set to include performances by this season’s coaches, Kelsea Ballerini, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, and John Legend. In addition, various former contestants and coaches will return for the finale.
These other performers include Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys with Amanda Reid, Chance the Rapper, Foreigner, James Bay with Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas and Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood. Notably, this will be Shelton’s first return to The Voice stage following his retirement.
Shelton is set to perform his single “Texas” from his 13th studio album, For Recreational Use Only. Clarkson will be performing her new single “Where Have You Been.” Finally, former coach Keys will perform the TV debut of her song “The River/Empire State of Mind” from her Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen.
