The inaugural three-day Dear Music Festival is kicking off with performances by some of our favorite talent show stars. Kortni Gilson of MTV’s Floribama Shore will host the event set to take place in Downtown Nashville this month. Dear Music is a non-profit that provides opportunities for a diverse group of artists to perform in showcases and festivals.
Talent Show Stars Join Dear Music Festival Lineup in Tennessee
The first night of the three-day event will take place on June 25. The Dear Music Block Party will host a DJ Battle. There will be performances and freestyles by Trappermale Dale, Malcolm Dewayne, Luh Stain, Lul menace, Vicky Love, Mia Michelle, Daisha McBride, Namir Blade, FU Stan, the Unknown Friends, and more.
Talent show fans will probably want to grab tickets for the Saturday, June 26 event at Downtown Riverfront Park. Lil Flip, DJ Unk, DJ Luke Nasty, Fabo, and Nashville All Star Band will all perform. Season 18 American Idol contestant Aliana Jester will also be performing. Aliana is a powerhouse singer who brought her emotional support dog, Nova, to her audition and the judges fell in love with them.
After having a complicated relationship with her mother growing up and struggling with self-harm, Aliana went to live with her dad. She has since been able to pursue her musical dreams and even returned for the big comeback episode in Season 19. Fans of Aliana can purchase exclusive VIP meet and greet tickets. The meet and greet will take place at the Hard Rock Cafe with both Aliana and Kortni.
Another familiar face that will be performing alongside Aliana is Casmè from Season 19 of The Voice. Casmè has been a musician for over 20 years and landed a spot on John Legend’s team last season. She has continued to perform gigs including a recent New Orleans show with fellow contestant Tamara Jade.
‘AGT’ Star Quintavious Johnson Will Also Take the Stage
Just when you thought the lineup couldn’t get any better, America’s Got Talent standout Quintavious Johnson is taking the stage during the festival. He competed on Season 9, taking on huge hits by the Jackson 5, Mary J. Blige, and Jennifer Hudson. He finished the competition in fifth place. Quintavious just released his single “Your Grace” available now on all streaming platforms.
The final day of the event on Sunday, June 27 will be an inspirational white and denim day party at Nissan Stadium. The set will feature gospel artists Dr. Bobby Jones, Canton Jones, Pastor Mike Jr., San Franklin, Adrianne Lewis-Freeman, Vincent Tharpe & Kenosis, Nate Bean & 4Given, EJ Fields, Greg Harris, DOE, Titus Showers, The Beard Sisters, and more.
