Kelly and John stood up and danced as Tamara continued her performance. At several moments, Kelly had her mouth open in shock over Tamara’s powerhouse voice. Toward the end of the song, both Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton turned their chairs.
“You are incredible!” Kelly screamed after Tamara’s audition. “What is your name and where have you been?” Tamara replied that she’s 30 years old and from Bowie, Maryland.
Kelly Predicts That Tamara Will Be In The Finale
Kelly told Tamara she’s the first person who has gotten her to turn around from the first note of the song. “Like, it doesn’t matter,” she said. “You’re gonna be in the finale.” Tamara seemed surprised by that comment, saying, “I receive that.”
Blake Shelton, meanwhile, said he believed Tamara could win this entire season of The Voice. “She can do literally everything,” John Legend said about her versatile performance.
