‘The Masked Singer’ Recap: Snowstorm Unmasked in Thanksgiving Semifinals
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer Season 8 returned on Thursday night for a special Thanksgiving Semifinals episode, as Harp and the Lambs made it through to next week’s season finale. Meanwhile, Snowstorm was unmasked as stand-up comic Nikki Glaser.
Harp, Lambs Move on to The Masked Singer Finals
During Thursday’s episode, Harp kicked off the show with an amazing performance of “About Damn Time” by Lizzo. At one point, she even removed the harp part of her costume, which allowed her to move around the stage more. Guesses from the panel about her identity included Jennifer Hudson, Amber Riley, and Jordin Sparks.
The Lambs also delivered a great performance of “Need You Now” by Lady A. After the performance, they shared that they didn’t think they’d ever sing together again. Guesses from the panel included All Saints, Wilson Phillips, and the Spice Girls. Obviously, that last guess came from Ken Jeong.
Later in the episode, all three of the remaining contestants (including Snowstorm) participated in the show’s first three-way Battle Royale. They all put their own spin on “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson. The panelists commented on what a hard decision it would be to pick just two to move on.
It was up to the audience and the panel to decide who should face off in next week’s season finale. In the end, only Harp and the Lambs moved on, meaning Snowstorm had to be unmasked.

Snowstorm Unmasked as Nikki Glaser in the Semifinals
Snowstorm moved on to the Semifinals in Wednesday night’s show. She returned in the Semifinals to perform “Thinking of You” by Katy Perry. She also shared that she always dreamed of being a pop star when she was growing up.
Later, Snowstorm went up against Harp and the Lambs in the Battle Royale. Unfortunately, she received the least amount of votes and had to be unmasked. Guesses from the panel about her identity included Whitney Cummings, Kristen Wiig, and Iliza Schlesinger.
However, only Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed that Snowstorm was stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser. She shared how much it meant to her to be able to share her love of singing even though she’s more well-known for her comedy.
Next week marks the Season 8 finale, as Harp and the Lambs will be unmasked, and one of them will be named the winner. Who are you rooting for? Let us know in the comments.
