‘The Masked Singer’ Recap: Diver Unmasked as Tom Sandoval on NFL Night
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer Season 10 was back on Wednesday for NFL night, as last week’s safe contestants returned to perform alongside wildcard Pickle. At the end of the night, Diver was unmasked as Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval. Even more notably, panelist Ken Jeong has now been correct two weeks in a row.
Returning The Masked Singer Contestants Go Up Against Pickle
This week’s episode featured some impressive performances from returning contestants Cow, Gazelle, and S’More, singing songs by former Super Bowl performers. First, Cow delivered a cover of “Treasure” by Bruno Mars that Jenny McCarthy described as “effortless.” Guesses included Trey Songz, Nelly, and Jason Derulo.
Later, Gazelle wowed with a moving performance of “The One That Got Away” by Katy Perry. Guesses from the panel included Leighton Meester and Auli’i Cravalho. Jeong got emotional as he guessed that it might be his friend Constance Wu under the mask.
S’More also returned to the stage to perform “Moves Like Jagger” by Maroon 5. Nicole Scherzinger praised their moonwalk. Guesses included boy banders JC Chasez and Kevin Richardson, as well as actor Simu Liu.
This week, we were also introduced to Pickle, who teased that they were a bad boy in their youth. Pickle sang “Pinball Wizard” by The Who. Guesses from the panel included Craig Kilborn, Dax Shepard, Conan O’Brien, and Howard Stern.

Diver Is Unmasked as Tom Sandoval
At the end of the night, one of his week’s contestants had to be eliminated and unmasked. That contestant turned out to be Diver, who sang “I Ain’t Worried” by OneRepublic. The panel was shocked, because they enjoyed his performance.
The panelists were split on who might be under the mask. Robin Thicke and Scherzinger thought it might be Pauly D from Jersey Shore, while Jeong and McCarthy guessed Tom Sandoval. Diver removed his mask and revealed that Jeong and McCarthy were right.
Unfortunately, some of the surprise was taken out of Sandoval’s unmasking, since the reality star recently gave away his involvement in the show. He was spotted wearing his “DON’T TALK TO ME” sweatshirt on a night out.
The panelists made sure to draw attention to the fact that Jeong is now two for two on his final guesses. The panelist is notoriously bad at figuring out who is under the masks, so this is impressive. They jokingly referred to this as “Season Ken” instead of Season 10.
Will his streak continue next week? We’ll have to wait and see. Let us know in the comments what you thought of this week’s episode.
