‘The Masked Singer’ Announces Guest Panelists Including Fox Favorites Joel McHale, Will.i.Am

The Masked Singer Season 6 is set to premiere on September 22. The show has been hyping us up in anticipation for weeks now by revealing the new costumes. Now, they’ve announced the line-up of guest panelists and show-favorite Joel McHale is set to return.
McHale is a recurring guest on The Masked Singer. He has so far appeared every season for at least one episode. Frienemy Ken Jeong has likewise appeared as a guest on McHale’s new Fox show Crime Scene Kitchen.
The panel was also fully convinced that McHale was this past season’s character Cluedle-Doo, who of course turned out to be Jenny McCarthy’s husband Donnie Wahlberg.
Season 6 of ‘The Masked Singer’ Sets Powerhouse Guest Panelists
Leslie Jordan, Will.I.Am, and Cheryl Hines will also appear as guests on the panel to lend their listening talent. Will.I.Am will have a busy schedule this Fall as he’s also a panelist for Fox’s new show Alter Ego.
Alter Ego is the latest singing competition show to hit our screens. In this new spin, contestants will show off their singing skills from behind a curtain while their virtual alter ego characters perform on stage. The show is set to air right after The Masked Singer on Fox, so I guess Will.I.Am will just have to hop from one set to the other.
Hines has also appeared as a guest panelist on the show previously, while Jordan will be the only newcomer to the official judging world.
The Masked Singer returns with a two-night premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 22 and Thursday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. ET. The first week will feature a double unmasking to get the season off to a dramatic start.
