The Masked Singer Returns for Ghostbusters Night

During Wednesday’s show, the remaining members of Group B took the stage to perform songs loosely (or, in one case, directly) related to the Ghostbusters franchise. That includes Pearl, who sang “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult, showing off a powerhouse voice.

Next up was Griffin, who sang “Disturbia” by Rihanna, and teased that they’ve co-starred with Ghostbusters: Afterlife star McKenna Grace. Boogie Woogie also impressed the panel with their cover of “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons, sharing that their positivity has been criticized in the past.

At the end of the night, Pearl, Griffin, and Boogie Woogie all received enough votes to move on to the Group B Finals next week. Two of them will make it into the “Lucky 6,” joining Group A contestants Coral and Paparazzo. Who are you rooting for?

Space Ranger Unmasked as Flavor Flav

During Wednesday’s show, Space Ranger took the stage to sing “Cleanin’ Up the Town” by the BusBoys, which was on the original Ghostbusters soundtrack. Although the panel enjoyed his fun energy, Space Ranger didn’t earn enough points to move on to the Group B Finals.

Before he was unmasked, the panel shared their final guesses. Although Ken Jeong clung to his guess that Space Ranger was DJ Jazzy Jeff, the other three panelists agreed that he was Flavor Flav, founding member of hip-hop group Public Enemy.

They turned out to be correct, as the rapper unmasked and immediately donned his iconic sunglasses and crooked baseball cap. Throughout the episode, host Nick Cannon had teased that he thought it was one of his favorite people under the mask, and he turned out to be right.

The panel was so excited by the reveal that they stood on the table after Space Ranger unmasked. Flavor Flav, who calls himself “King Swiftie,” closed the show by singing “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift.
