Sofia Vergara Says She Won’t Date Anyone More Than Two Years Younger Than Her

America’s Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara was recently a guest on Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed that she’s not interested in dating men who are too much younger than her. Her limit is apparently two years.
Sofia Vergara Shares How Young She’s Willing to Date
During Vergara’s appearance on the Bravo talk show, host Andy Cohen asked a viewer’s question about how the actress reacted to hearing her name in Bad Bunny’s song “Monaco.” Vergara said, “I threw my phone.”
Fellow guest Alexia Nepola from Real Housewives of Miami pointed out that Bad Bunny seems to be single now (although there are rumors he’s rekindling his romance with Kendall Jenner). However, Vergara apparently isn’t interested in dating someone so young.
“Let’s not go crazy. He’s younger than my son Manolo,” Vergara said. (Bad Bunny is 29, and Manolo is 32.) When Cohen asked if that was her rule about dating, she said, “No, to me, they can’t be younger than 50. I’m 51. Okay, 49, 49.”

Why Did Vergara, Joe Manganiello Split?
Last July, Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello announced that they had split, and Manganiello filed for divorce. Recently, Vergara opened up about the reasons they decided to call it quits after seven years of marriage.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” Vergara told Spanish publication El País. “I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.”
Vergara added that she’s “ready to be a grandmother, not a mother.” The actress was rumored to be dating orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, but they’ve apparently called it quits.
She hasn’t given up on dating, however, as she told Jimmy Fallon she wants to spend more time in New York City because there are “more options with men.”
