Snoop Dogg has been accused of sexual assault only days before his super bowl halftime show performance. A woman is suing the rapper based off a sexual assault allegation from 2013. Snoop Dogg denied the allegations publicly on his Instagram.

*TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual assault.

An unnamed woman filed a legal claim against Snoop Dogg in California accusing him of sexual assault. The woman was identified as a dancer, model, host, and actress. She says that the rapper invaded her privacy while she was feeling sick and forced her to perform oral sex.

The woman claims the assault happened on May 29, 2013. She attended one of the rapper’s shows and Bishop Don Juan (a longtime associate of Snoop Dogg) offered to give her a ride home. The woman claims she fell asleep in the car and awoke at Don Juan’s home.

The lawsuit states that the woman fell asleep at Don Juan’s home and awoke at 4 a.m. From there, the woman said that Don Juan forced her into an oral sex act. After that, she said Don Juan offered her a dress so they could go to Snoop Dogg’s studio. The lawsuit states that Don Juan wanted her to become the weather girl on a tv show Snoop Dogg was working on.

Allegations Were Denied Publicly

The woman claims she then went to Snoop Dogg’s studio, but began feeling sick. She said that while she was in the bathroom, Snoop Dogg came in and forced her to perform oral sex. Later, it’s stated that Snoop Dogg wouldn’t hire her because she “refused to willingly and enthusiastically give oral sex.”

Since the allegations have come out publicly, Snoop Dogg has denied them. On Feb 9, he shared a post to Instagram stating that “Gold digger season is here.” This case was filed on the same day that Snoop Dogg announced he bought Death Row Records. The rapper hasn’t been quiet about the fact that he believes the case was filed due to his current financial success.

A source shared with TMZ that the woman demanded just shy of $10 million, but the demand was rejected. The woman stated in the lawsuit that she “felt pressured by Snoop Dogg due to his dominance and his position of power over her, including his ability to hire and fire her and ensure that she would never be hired in this industry again.”
