Singer Robert Finley recently returned to the Got Talent stage for America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, after reaching the Semifinals of Season 14. Finley delivered a soulful performance of an original song, bringing the judges to their feet.

Robert Finley Performs in AGT: All-Stars Early Release

Finley is a musician and former carpenter who lost his sight due to glaucoma. As he joked before his All-Stars performance, the doctor told him, “You’re blind in one eye and you can’t see out the other one.” He said he realized “you gotta take what you got and move on.”

Finley shared with the judges that after his time on Season 14, he released a new album called Sharecropper’s Son in 2021. He also received the keys to two cities — his hometown, and his current town.

The singer went on to perform an original song called “Souled Out on You,” which appears on his latest album. Not only did he sound amazing, but he also showed off some dance moves that had the audience cheering. All four judges got on their feet after the performance.

“Everyone was standing,” Mandel told Finley. “You had absolutely everybody in this room on their feet.”

What Did The Judges Think of Finley’s Performance?

Judge Simon Cowell told Finley, “I wish I had a Platinum Buzzer right now. Gold’s not even good enough for that. I mean, seriously, that was extraordinary. You’re just so cool, and it’s effortless. And your voice is just brilliant. That’s what a singing voice should sound like.”

Unfortunately, Cowell already hit his Golden Buzzer during last week’s show, giving the honor to comedian Mike E. Winfield. It’s now up to the Superfans to decide if Finley should go to the AGT: All-Stars Finals.

Mandel told Finley that he delivered a “star performance.” He asked if the singer was “happy with this choice,” and Finley answered, “Yes, sir.” Mandel told him, “You should be.”

You can find out if the Superfans voted Finley through during Monday night’s new episode of All-Stars at 8/7c on NBC.
